The main house has been built as a comfortable holiday home for a couple and temporary guests but bearing in mind that properties are usually quite substantial in La Zagaleta, the current owners had their architect plan an optional expansion in accordance with the local building code. The current owners spend a few months in the house every year, so the property has had very little use since its construction.
The gardens were magnificently designed by landscape artist Gerald Huggan (designer of Marbella Club Hotel gardens, Royal Las Brisas Golf Course and Finca Cortesin among others) and offer a variety of mature plants and trees, making the property a great private and tranquil retreat.
